A room forthree thousand.
On the Sathyabama campus, a convention centre built to hold the whole university at once — and the city alongside it.
The numbers behind the roof.
Three thousand under one roof
Sized to seat the whole university at once: convocations, conferences and public events that would otherwise be split across the campus.
A facade that works for its living
The perforated terracotta screen shades the glass behind it, cutting solar gain on the long elevations while carrying the institution's name in its own perforation pattern.
Arrival without a crush
Covered drop-off, pergola walkways and a landscaped forecourt give three thousand people somewhere to gather before and between sessions.
PLACEHOLDER — stage, AV and riggingtodo
Replace with the real technical spec: stage dimensions, fly tower, line-array coverage, LED wall pitch, broadcast tie-ins, green rooms, load-in access.
Whose hall this is.

“Entry is not important. Exit is important.”
Founded Sathyabama Engineering College in 1988 to open engineering education to students for whom it was then out of reach. A self-made administrator who gave the latter part of his life to education, and built the institution this hall now belongs to.

“It is the duty of every citizen to give back to the society.”
Carries forward the founder's approach to education, and has driven the institution's outreach: the Anbu Foundation scholarships, free civil-services coaching, and skills programmes for government-school children and rural youth. Named among NITI Aayog and the UN's Top 12 Women Transforming India.

PLACEHOLDER — Sathyabama's public site lists the title and qualifications only, with no published biography. Ask the institution for two or three sentences, and for a message or quote if one is wanted here.
Hold your event here.
The centre is preparing to open. Convocations, conferences, cultural programmes and institutional events can be registered now.
Realised under the leadership of President Dr. Marie Johnson and Chancellor Dr. Mariazeena Johnson, and built on the vision of the late founder chancellor, Dr. Jeppiaar.
